Not the best for gaming paid about £300 pound Thinking would be better then the KD50X89JU since it was a lot more. But it has a nice picture but wish had done more research.

I am relatively happy but it occasionally jumps like it's predecessor. I would love to speak to a Sony engineer to see if it is the TV or something else. John Lewis doesn't bother to send out engineer's to look at TV they just offer a TV of same value or upgrade ( which we did and are having same problem). This does not happen all the time.

Nachdem unser alter Sony nach 8 Jahren den Geist aufgegeben hat, entschieden wir uns gegen eine Reparatur und für einen neuen, weil das Betriebssystem des alten inzwischen einfach nicht mehr Stand der Technik war. Hier ist der neue wirklich super. Schon die erste Einrichtung des neuen Gerätes war super übersichtlich und einfach. Die Bedienung ist super flüssig und schnell, es sind alle gängigen Apps vorhanden und es gibt einige sehr nützliche Features wie die automatische Einrichtung der Fernbedienung zur Verwendung auch für den externen Receiver. Das Bild ist top und lässt sich für meinen Geschmack auch gut einstellen. Hier hilft wie bei vielen anderen Einstellungen auch das Quick Menü, was sich jederzeit am unteren Bildrand einblenden lässt. Gleichzeitig birgt das Bild bzw. die Beleuchtung aber auch meinen einzigen Kritikpunkt. Beleuchtung und Bild sind über das gesamte Panel super klar und regelmäßig, aber: in allen vier Ecken gibt es bei sehr hellen Bildern leichte dunkle Schatten. Das fällt im Normalfall gar nicht auf, aber wie es eben so ist: Hat man es einmal gesehen, sieht man es immer. Daher reicht es aus meiner Sicht eben nicht für 5 Sterne. Trotzdem würden wir immer wieder auf Sony zurückgreifen, da vor allem das Bild, aber auch die Bedienung im direkten Vergleich mit der Konkurrenz immer besser ausfällt. Und wie gesagt, der Vorgänger hat trotz reger Benutzung immerhin 8 Jahre durchgehalten und nach diesem Zeitraum kann man alleine auf Grund der rasanten Entwicklung ohnehin ein neues Gerät zumindest mal in Erwägung ziehen. In seiner Preisklasse ist er aus meiner Sicht der Beste den ich finden konnte.

Hat alles, was mein Herz begehrt, von Google TV bis hin zu Dolby Atmos / DTS und Dolby Visual. Farben werden sehr gut wiedergegeben. Kontraste müssen allenfalls noch von Hand etwas nachgebessert werden. App Auswahl auf Google TV ist riesig. Apple TV und TV Anbieter Box sind obsolet geworden.

Decent TV but could be better

I bought this product as a replacement for a Samsung that had broken down and could not be repaired by Currys. Overall I am pleased with the picture and sound quality. The only slight niggle I have with it is that it does not “remember” my list of favourite channels. I have to set it to use my favourites every time I switch it on, unlike the Samsung Q70, which remembered the setting each time. I hope that the Sony proves to be more reliable, but it is too early to say that yet.

Nach dem unter alter 4k TV von LG leider ein wenig rumgezickt hat haben wir uns entschlossen ein neues Gerät zu beschaffen. Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass der neue TV im Gegensatz zum alten nochmal um so vieles besser sein würde. Ich habe den Kauf nicht bereut. Auch in Verbindung mit der ps5 ist das Bilderlebnis noch um einiges besser als auf dem TV zuvor.

Viele Bereiche des TV´s sind echt erfreulich! - Der flache, etwas scharfe Klang ist jedoch eine herbe Enttäuschung! Der Equalizer hilft leider auch nicht weiter. Von einem Produkt in diesem Preisniveau erwarte ich eine ausgewogenere Leistungsqualität.

Nachdem ich 10 Jahre in den gleichen Fernseher geschaut habe, war es dringend Zeit für einen Wechsel. Nach paar tagen Recherche habe ich mich für diesen SONY entschieden und bin bisher absolut zufrieden. In der Tat ist er in den oberen Ecken im Bereich "schwarz" nicht komplett schwarz aber wie oft fällt einem das auf? Bedienung war für mich kindereinfach, da ich SONY-TVs gewohnt bin auch wenn es dieses Mal erstmal ein sogenannter Smart-TV war. Klanglich finde ich ihn auch ansprechend, auch wenn da natürlich noch Luft nach oben ist. Füße empfinde ich als bißchen billig, um auch einen Punkt zu kritisieren. Alles in allem sehr zufrieden und würde den TV auch im Freundes-/Bekanntenkreis weiterempfehlen.

Easy to set up and connect to other equipment and Wi-Fi. 4k UHD picture is amazing with a suitable source. Just missing a conventional audio out.

hatte schon mal einen Sony Fernseher. Nach einen Abstecher kam ich wieder zurück. Muss mich erst wieder umgewöhnen um ein Aussagekräftiges Urteil abzugeben!

Passé la prise en main, les possibilités de réglages et les différentes infos de Google TV, enregistrements et acceptations, je suis enchanté par le son (2x10w,très largement suffisant) et l'image (reportage de lieux magnifiques à travers le monde, sur Youtube) en UHD. Hey Google, par le micro de la télécommande dédiée, est très réactif, mais la voix pas vraiment "humaine". Les possibilités de programmes sont vastes, mais les prises USB haut placées pour le clavier et la souris.

In looking for a 50" TV we compared a number of makes and models and found this one offered the best quality for picture, design & features. It was very easy to set up, apart from having a choice of 2 remote controllers to choose from. The picture and sound quality are excellent. The operating guide is a little sparse but that seems the trend with most goods nowadays. Overall, we're very pleased and know we've made the right decision.

Bought the TV to upgrade from one I’d had for several years. Read a lot of reviews and finally decided on the Sony X80K. Couldn’t be more pleased with it, easy to set up and connect peripherals and has a great picture - really clean.

Good tv, easy to use, ittle bit of a wobble when touched don't like the lack of BBC text service on red button definitely missed more then it gains all that comes up when you press red on BBC1 is the choice of a couple of programmes you can just access bbc iplayer on the menu to view and BBC sounds same can access on main menu I miss my news weather and sports I'm disabled and this was my main access to news and such like not having this has been very odd and is quite disappointing

Bought this TV having been very pleased with our previous SONY TV and we weren’t disappointed. Once we had the external connections fitted, to the Sky box and DVD player, the on set instructions were very easy to follow. We soon had the TV set up and we’re enjoying the excellent picture wuality.

Ausgezeichnet, wunderbare Bildschärfe, besserer Sound als je zuvor, auch ohne Soundbar, Fernsehen macht wieder Spaß! Die Einrichtung des Fernsehers erfolgt jedoch irgendwie; man stolpert durch die Optionen und weiß nicht, ob man das Gerät vollständig und reproduzierbar eingerichtet hat. Irgendwie funktioniert es, und so stolpert man weiter durch die Optionen.
