[Overview]
XDCAM Drive Software is a basic utility that allows users to read/write files from a computer connected to a PDW-U2/U4 Professional Disc Drive Unit.
With this software running on a computer connected to the PDW-U1, PDW-U2, or PDW-U4, you can carry out the following operations on the PDW-U1, PDW-U2 or PDW-U4.

• Display device and disc information
• Update the firmware
• Finalize discs (when using a Quad-Layer Write-Once (WO) disc on the PDW-U2 or PDW-U4)
• Make option settings

Microsoft Windows
* Microsoft Windows 10 x64 22H2 (*1)
* Microsoft Windows 11 x64 24H2 or later (*1, *2)
(*1) Since Microsoft’s standard support has ended, if you are using Windows 10, it is necessary to purchase the Extended Security Updates (ESU).
(*2) The reason why Windows 11 version is specified as 24H2 or later is because EOS of Win11 23H2 is also coming shortly, on Nov. 11, 2025.
